Dr. Margittai usually offers a mindfulness program at the North York General Hospital: Mindfulness for Medical Conditions (MMC). This is a physician-led, 9-week group program, on Fridays, for 3.5 hours. (POSTPONED TILL 2021 - instead, for now, online via ZOOM, virtual groups
will be offered. Please call Dr. Margittai to register now: 416-483-3778.)
There are four sessions offered every year: Winter - from mid-January; Spring- from early April; Summer - from early June; and Fall - from mid-September. These sessions last 3.5 hours, and there is an expectation that participants do one hour of daily homework, in between the sessions.
There is also an all-day silent retreat after the 6th week (Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm).
